Most of these pictures are formatted for a high resolution display of 1280 by 1024. The bird photos are formatted to a resolution of 1024 by 768. In addition, the background pictures takes time to download over slower modems. Is this too annoying or is it OK? E-Mail me and let me know what you would prefer.

This is the 2nd turn off heading north and west from Berthoud Pass on US 40. We skied here the second week of February, 2001 and had very good conditions. |

A day of cat skiing, one day of backcountry behind and north of the ski area, and three days of skiing at the ski area. We could have been skiing in BC but hey ... why travel 800 miles to ski marginal snow with the worst avalanche hazards in memory? |

A mid March trip to Moab is always in order. A half marathon race for some plus hiking and exploring for everyone. Again, perfect spring weather after a brief spring snow storm. |
