Nosara Monteverde Rain Forest Arenal Volcano Cartago - Colonial Capital Irazu Volcano

 

 

          In the summer of 2010 we took a 16 day trip to Costa Rica to visit with Bob & Judi and see their new house.  We spent the first week in Playa Guiones near Nosara on the Pacific coast, relaxing and swimming.  We then left and traveled by rental car to the Monteverde Cloud Forest.  We stayed there three days exploring the area, then moved on to the Arenal volcano, again staying for three days.  We then left and traveled south to visit sights around San Jose, Cartago and the Irazu volcano for our final; three days.  We had a great time, saw lots of animal and plant life.  The pictures are not as good as we would have preferred as I dunked our good camera in the water necessitating the purchase of replacement cameras (two).
